October is National CyberSecurity Awareness Month. Universities around the United States are participating, including UNM.

Events will be held on North Campus and in the ASM Student Center.

• October 9 will focus on Health Sciences Center events.
• October 10 will focus on student computing and access security, featuring laptop security checking.
• October 11 will focus on departmental IT security for faculty and staff, including identity theft, client system security and security investigating.
